Congratulations on your purchase of a digital IDView  DVR. In order to reset the time on your unit based on the new Daylight Saving Time post March 11th, we recommend that you manually change the time on your unit. We have prepared the cheat sheet by models below for your reference.

1)      Press the SETUP button to enter the Main Menu page. If you have a simplex unit, you need to press STOP button before pressing the SETUP button.

2)      Use the “V” down arrow key and select Clock/Timer.

3)      On the Timer page, use the “V” down arrow key and select the Daylight Saving and press enter.

4)      Use the “V” down arrow key and select Set and press enter.

5)      Set the beginning and ending for daylight saving time and press enter.

6)      Select OK to save the setting.

Note: You will need to follow the same steps for next year Daylight Saving.

1)      Click the STOP RECORD button on the lower right (3^rd button)

2)      Then click on the MENU button on the lower right (4^th  button).

3)      Select System Tab.

4)      On the left column, manually enter the correct date and time.

Note: You will need to follow the same steps to change to time when the Daylight Saving Ends. You cannot change the time if it is configured to use a time server. 

1)      Press the MENU button to enter the Main Menu page

2)      Use the “V” down arrow key and select Quick Setting.

3)      On the Quick Setting page, use the “V” down arrow key and select the Time Setting and press enter.

4)      Enter the correct time and press enter.

5)      Use the “V” down arrow key and select menu: exit to exit.

Note: You will need to follow the same steps to change to time when the Daylight Saving Ends.

1)      Press the SETUP button on the lower right corner to enter the System Setting page.

2)      On the System Setting page, select the System Tab

3)      On the left column under the System Tab, select Manual in the Status drop down arrow.

4)      Enter the correct time.

5)      Select your Time zone if needed.

Note: You will need to follow the same steps to change to time when the Daylight Saving Ends.

1)      Press the MENU button on the front panel.

2)      In the Main Menu page, select System Setup and press Enter, then select Date/Time.

3)      Select 2.Time and press Enter to set the correct time and press Enter.

4)      Select 7.Daylight Saving Time and press Enter to turn it on.

5)      Select 8.DST Start and press Enter to enter the daylight saving start time (Ex. March 4^th Sun, 02.00)

6)      Select 8.DST End and press Enter to enter the daylight saving end time (Ex. Nov 4^th Sun, 02.00)

Note: You will need to follow the same steps for next year Daylight Saving.

1)      Logout the DVR by clicking on Start and select logout and then click on Exit.

2)      Change the time like you would on any Windows Operating System. (Double Click on the lower right corner where the date stamp located. A Date/Time window will pop up, make change on the Date and Time.)

3)      Log back in by double click on the DVR icon on the Desktop.
