The QIV-204TX does not require you to manually load any software for remote viewing or remote control. The machine will automatically download the required files to your machine when you connect to it for the first time. If the DVR software is updated it will inform you of a new version the next time you connect.
In order to connect, you will need to allow the download of "unsigned ActiveX" files. This can be done by following the directions below.
Open Internet Explorer
Click on: Tools (on your Menu toolbar), Select Internet Options
Click on Trusted Sites, click on sites and add the IP address (66.180.119.125) for our unit. Uncheck the box that says "Require server verification"
From that dialog box, select the Security tab, click the Custom Level button (bottom of page)
Find the "Download ActiveX control" and be sure it is set to "Enable"
Click OK and exit out of all dialog boxes.
After you have closed out, click on the button below to connect to our QIV-204TX demo.
Only 1 person can be logged (at one time) as Admin (password:
1234),
all other users (2-5) will can be logged in as "User"
(password: 1111).
